Finally On Google

Hey everyone! It's been a while. I hope everyone had a good week and has a great weekend. Just an update on the blog, if you want to access it from google.com you can type thecareerstudent.blogspot.com into the search part of google and it is listed at the top.

We are doing our Patriotic music this Sunday. It's always one of my favorite times of year. I hope we all have an unfailing love and support for our country. Even with the tough economy, the possibility of government run health care, and this new so-called energy bill (government fundraiser), we are still the best country in the world. We should always honor those who are willing to sacrifice their families, time, and lives for our freedom. I was reminded Wednesday night at church that it's not just the soldiers who risk things. They have families here who miss them' wives who don't get to spend time with their husbands; fathers who don't get to see their children. While their spouse is fighting overseas in foreign lands, their spouses are hear listening on the news about how they are fighting and dying "needlessly." Imagine if that were one of us. How would we feel to hear that?

This year, let's not just let this time pass us by without honoring those who are willing to give all.

On a more familial note, please pray for Bettie Mac. This coming week she is having her surgery. Pray that the doctors will have wisdom and that she will be up and running again soon. We love ya'll!
